✤What is MURO 3D?✤ 

    ✤ MURO 3D is a passion project based on my love of 3D technology from a young age, mixed with my love of virtual worlds and fashion. In essence, this blog is a blend of all my favorite things about 3D - being able to travel anywhere, be anyone, and do anything you have the creativity to come up with. I want to inform people about the capabilities of 3D technology and how accessible technology has become while keeping it light and entertaining.

 

    When I was a kid, I was a big fan of comedy writer and columnist Sean 'Seanbaby' Reiley, who wrote for Cracked from 2009 to 2020. Years of quips and random trivia have created MURO! I like photography, I like science, and I like fashion. All of that comes together here!
 

✤Who is MURO? Why is it capitalized?✤
MURO is the mascot of MURO 3D! She's a digital explorer who wants to see everything the digital universe has to offer. She goes through a lot of design revisions because I'm fickle. And as for why it's in all capital letters?

 

It looks cooler.

 

    Anyway, I plan on separating the blog posts into categories. MURO Making, MURO Marching, MURO Market, and MURO Mashup! I like alliteration. More categories might come soon!

• ✤MURO Making✤ : Posts about the technical aspects of 3D. This includes posts about software and tutorials, and if I post about new technology I find interesting.
• ✤MURO Marching✤ : Travel posts, but virtual! My community of choice is VRChat because I love the immersion of VR, but this can include any particularly interesting 3D work I find.
• ✤MURO Market✤ : Reviews! I give my thoughts on products I purchase, whether it's software, games, or 3D assets.
• ✤MURO Mashup✤ : Posts about my 3D work, including showing off my kitbashes, what assets I use, and how I make them. I also am learning Blender, so I'll post my creations.
• ✤MURO Mellow✤ : These are short, lighthearted pieces that are less in-depth than my other posts. I like to talk shop, but not everything on this blog will be technical! This will include life updates, posts on the social aspects of virtual worlds, and other things that may not fall into the above categories.
  

    I'm always open to feedback on how to make the blog more accessible or what topics people are interested in me expanding on, so please consider commenting on your thoughts! I appreciate it a lot. Sharing the blog with other people helps a lot, too! This is my first time making a blog.
